In Europe, being a student means different things in different countries. This OVE Infos uses data from the EUROSTUDENT VI programme, based on the contributions of 28 countries between 2016 and 2018, to highlight the main differences in characteristics of national student populations (age, educational background, students with children). There is also a focus on the transition from secondary school to higher education and on international mobility. A description of living conditions (housing, resources, expenses and paid work) completes the overall picture.
